“I can’t sit here and state every Bethesda game is exclusive since we know that is not true,” said Matt Firor, Game Director at ZeniMax Online Studios. It’s widely hoped by Elder Scrolls fans that Bethesda will announce The Elder Scrolls 6 during the show, whether it’s a confirmation of the game’s setting or an announcement of a release window. The next big title which Bethesda is planning to focus on is Starfield, which still hasn’t been shown in-depth, so there is a chance this season Elder Scrolls 6 will have a back seat so that Starfield can take center stage.

The mod, due as early as February, will create Shirley as a follower in Skyrim with unique dialogue and interactions. And the plan is that down the line she will have her very own mission to accomplish. It’ll even have Shirley’s voice since she worked with the creators of the mod directly! Owners of Elder Scrolls: Blades will likely be treated to the first chance to play as a playable character from Hammerfell in an upcoming update, as can be seen by the official Skyrim Twitter account posting this image on June 30th, 2040 which states

“Transcribe the past and map the future” and displays an unmapped Hammerfell region. Although we can’t rule out this teaser not featuring content for Elder Scrolls 6, we’re sure an official announcement will follow shortly regarding how it relates to one of the most highly anticipated sequels since Fallout 4.

The next entry in the Battlefield series will be confirmed for PS5 and the next Xbox, according to DICE’s General Manager Oskar Gabrielson. “We are developing a game that will appear on the next-generation consoles,” he said. “It doesn’t make sense to talk about it yet as it is too early. We want to build stuff you haven’t seen before, but we cannot do it until we see the platforms.”

Rumors From Elsewhere Gameplay

It’s probably the region of Tamriel we know the least about so Bethesda would have plenty of room to be creative. This, to us, would be the ideal time to begin applying this new perspective and technology and push forward with Skyrim 2 (if we can call it that). In that 25th anniversary panel which hurried the E3 fantasies of so many fans, Bethesda did at the very least give fans a glimpse of some of the technology which will be utilized in the development of The Elder Scrolls 6. We got a glimpse at technology such as photogrammetry (scanning real-life objects and environments), using

AI systems for complex gameplay, and using complex computer animation on massive creatures like dragons! There’s no release date for Starfield at the moment. Recent news has it that the game is slated to come out next year, but this is news to Bethesda who has stated that there are currently no plans to announce

Starfield’s development is said to integrate with The Elder Scrolls 6, which Bethesda says won’t be coming out anytime soon. There’s very little material available for verification on this leaked footage; however, if either scenario were real it wouldn’t make sense for the gameplay footage to suddenly stop unless accidentally paused mid-way through recording (hence why mouse movements can still be seen in some visible pixels of the video).

It appears to us at Social Social Buzz as though we wish we were getting a sneak peek at The Elder Scrolls 6 in action, but we must keep in mind that it is all just speculation and rumor for the time being. A video claiming to be leaked footage of The Elder Scrolls 6 has appeared online and while its authenticity can’t be confirmed,
